Mr. Zawacki’s U.S. History students composed a Current Events essay regarding the epic bankruptcy of the city of Detroit. Discussions took place regarding how and why this occurred and who the bankruptcy impacts. The rich history of Detroit and the government’s plan for resurgence were also widely discussed.
