Memory Matters is a very special place on Hilton Head Island that offers a welcoming atmosphere for those suffering memory loss, while also providing a respite for caregivers. The AP Literature & Composition students just completed presenting their independent novels to the class. After completing the reading and researching the author and the critical analysis, each student “taught” his/her novel to the class in a 45-minute presentation. Each student researched one of the world’s biomes and presented their research findings to the class in a PowerPoint presentation.
Like our Founding Fathers, students in Ms. Hobson’s afternoon U.S. Government class worked in groups to create new governments. This activity was a conclusion to their lessons on how governments are formed, types of governments, and the origins of the U.S. Government.
