Today was Bluefish Dissection Day in marine biology class. We were fortunate to be joined by Ms. Doreen Kuenzler, Manager of the Seafood Department at Whole Foods Market. She brought us some fresh fish and helped with our lab. Now we all know that the gills should be removed before cooking a whole fish to keep it from tasting bitter and even better, she taught us how to do that. Here Doreen , Jim Ji, and Samuel Cudjoe celebrate a successful dissection….all parts accounted for.
